I read your description of the night you, Christy, and I went out for dinner and then to NarAnon and then to Shooters. I had fun too. Looking forward to breakfast next week.
I tried to do your puzzle, but I couldn't figure out how to rotate the pieces. One was at the top and I thought it needed to be at the bottom, but I couldn't rotate it.
I wanted to let you know that I don't go to NarAnon to understand your Dad. I go for two reasons. One is to try to understand the effect your Dad's addiction had on your Mom, DJ, you, M-G, Luke, and Mark. And the other is to deal with the pain that his addiction brought into my life. NarAnon is for the families and friends of addicts. It is for the purpose of people supporting people as they all deal with the chaos and pain and frustration that having an addict in their lives brings and that only they can understand. Your Dad's addiction is affecting everyone -- your Mom, you, your brothers and sister, me, and Mom-Mom. Each of us in different ways. I value the support I get from the people in the group, and I value the insights I get from hearing them talk. I hope you will go back with me and begin to know these good people.
Anyway, now that i have a blog, I'm going to start writing things on it. And trying to learn how to make it work better.
